Christel House focuses on creating lasting change in the lives of impoverished and underserved children around the world.

Currently, nearly 2,000 children in six countries - India, Mexico, Serbia, South Africa, Venezuela and the U.S. - benefit daily from education and vocational training; nutrition; life competency skills, and a safe, nurturing environment.

Indianapolis, Indiana businesswoman and philanthropist Christel DeHaan founded the charity in 1998 and contributes all general and administrative costs. Consequently, 100% of all donations fund programs directly benefiting Christel House children.
